Subfertility, or the inability to conceive, is a severe social and psychological burden for couples, particularly for African women. Female causes and unexplained infertility are believed to account for 40-70 percent of instances of infertility in India, necessitating a review of numerous research studies. The contributions of several etiological variables in female infertility were investigated in this study, and an attempt was made to update the existing knowledge on female infertility therapy. The primary goal of this review is to create data that may be used as a guideline for evaluating female infertility. According to the reviewed studies on female infertility, losing 5-10% of body weight in obese anovulatory infertile women, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, preventing and promptly treating sexually transmitted diseases, and not delaying parenthood are among the purported good preventive measures to combat infertility among infertile women.
