Title

BEHAVIOUR STUDY OF CONCRETE WITH PARTIAL REPLACEMENT OF CEMENT BY EGG SHELL POWDER AND OTHER POZZOLONIC MATERIALS

Abstract

Construction industry is rapidly increasing area for sustainable development, but industrial area create lots of waste materials and CO2 respectively which become a more significant problem of environment The utilization of waste products is the most effective way to solve this problem in construction industry. Cement is the most important commonand widely used building Materials But in the production process of the cement, COC produced by cement industries causes environmental pollution and global warming In 1000 kg of cement manufacturing process emitted approximately900 kg of COz. In orderto reduce the impact of cement productionon atmosphere and to make the constructionindustry more sustainable, waste productsare usedas supplementary cementingmaterial Egg shell powder used as partial replacement of cement and fly ash, rice husk ash, metamolin, saw dust Ash, microsi1ica, palsm oil fuelash are used as pozzolonic material to improve the strength properties. Egg Shetl Powder (ESP) is used in (0- 30)V+ replacement leveland other materials are also used in (0- 44)% of replacement level to conduct workability, durability, sorptivity, compressive strength, flextural strength, split tensile strength of ESP concrete.
