n this era of internet, online reviews have become the most important for every ongoing e-commerce websites. Extracting data’s like opinion words and opinion targets from online reviews has become most difficult challenge especially for fine grained opinion mining. Most of the opinion mining techniques uses machine learning and deep learning algorithms. Pipeline-based framework have higher precision but poor in recall by using traditional extraction methods. On the other hand, extraction methods used in progression-based framework have higher recall but its precision is poor. In this survey paper details of various opinion mining techniques, basically on text reviews has been considered in order to improve the performance of both recall and precision. Taking customer perspective as textual online reviews into consideration for opinion mining, these results overall ideas of various opinion mining techniques which were used.
