Title

Effect Of Herbicides On The Lipase Activity Of The Freshwater Snail, Lymnea acuminata (Lamark).

Abstract

The experiment was conducted to evaluate the alterations in lipase activity caused due to the sublethal concentration (Lc10) of the latex of Euphorbia nerrifolia exposed for 24 and 48 hours were studied in freshwater Lymnea acuminate (Lamark). The lipase activity was found to increase at 24 hours and 48 hours of sub-lethal dose of Euphorbia nerrifolia treatments. Herbicides seem to be more effective in bringing about physiological impairment.
