Himachal Pradesh has recorded excellent overall growth during the recent past. Growth process has transformed development structure into urbanized regions. However, it has added to a series of issues, problems and attributes as per stakeholders perspective needed to be paid special emphasis by the management system. Due to excess growth in construction and migration, urban people perceive challenges in efficiently managing road traffic. The problem adds in the prevalence of the circumstances of extensive flow of regular travellers for occupational purposes because of institutions and organizations in the urbanized areas. Further, travellers in the cities are of varied nature causing traffic pressure, whereas, the organizational network claims efficient road traffic management of the cities.
