Abstract
Couroupita guianensis is a deciduous, huge, versatile tree flourishing with brown, green, pink, white colours and also with phytochemicals like alkaloids, flavonoids, Terpenoids, Saponins, tannins, carbohydrates that are ready to serve to the plant as well as humans. This huge plant also is seen to have some pharmacological activities like antimicrobial, antifungal, antioxidant, antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory and anticancer. Nanoparticles have also been derived from parts of the plant and has many applications with respect to future prospects.
