: Falls are a major health concern that can have significant health consequences in older adults. Every year, 28–35 percent of persons over the age of 65 are reported to fall at least once. Identifying persons who are at risk of falling is the first step in successful fall prevention. The goal of this study is to track elderly people's health and behaviors to identify those who are in danger of falling. A cross-sectional survey of 113 community-dwelling elders aged 50 and up was conducted, with participants selected at random. Quantitative descriptive analysis was used to examine the data. The significance between self-examined falls and instability, demographics, and walking characteristics using the Chi-square test was conducted. Falls among community- dwelling elders are strongly linked to their level of instability. Positive expectations and positive impressions are used to design a better fall detection system with balance monitoring.
