There are several challenges that are faced by Indian yarn exporters while exporting in international market. Yarn is a product that comes under textile industry and according to some data the export of textile products from India accounts for more than 12% of the total Indian exports and contributes to 5% of India’s total GDP with with industry output in value terms at 7%. The yarn export alone generated the total revenue of US $ 12429 Mn in yearn 2019 which saw an 11% increase than compared to the previous year. The research is aimed to find out the major challenges faced by the Indian yarn exporters and the measures that can help the yarn exporters to increase their export in international market.
