Title

Waste Management And Energy Generation With The Help Of Microbial Fuel Cell

Abstract

This paper depicts the tasks and biotechnology implicated in the microbial fuel cell (MFC), which transform biochemical metabolic energy into electrical energy and decomposes organic waste. Microbes in MFC can be fed organic waste such as domestic wastewater, lignocellulose biomass, brewery wastewater, starch processing wastewater, landfill leachates, and so on to generate electricity. MFC can also be used for waste water treatment (especially if it contains a high level of organic waste), as biosensors, and in the production of secondary fuels such as hydrogen. MFCs show up in a number of different forms, and they have a wide spectrum of uses.
