Home automation is a hot topic nowadays as it makes life easier for everyone. But present systems are costly. This project is developed to create a cost-effective home automation system using a ESP32 board with internet that can be controlled remotely from any smart phone including a security feature with Arduino Uno to make an alert system. Houses and apartments are progressively shifting from traditional manual switches to automated mode that include smart control systems. Control systems with security measures are very popular these days, and they are becoming more popular by the day. Because people want complete control over their home appliances even when they are away. Home automation system with internet connectivity, manual push buttons, remote control, fire & smoke detection, SMS & call alert offers a cutting-edge solution with smart phones A GSM module connected to Arduino Uno, and an GSM band connection are required to accomplish this. All appliances can be controlled using the Home Automation app and an IR remote on manual push buttons. In the event of a fire or smoke, the alert system buzzer will sound, and the GSM module will send an SMS and make a phone call to the owner. The device can distinguish between gas and fire, allowing precise information to be transmitted directly to the user via GSM module as quickly as possible. A 5V and 9V DC power supply is used to power the device.
