Medicinal plants are great and immense source of different auspicious bioactive compounds. These bioactive compounds also shows great role in allelopathy in which medicinal plant inhibit or suppress the growth of the nearby plant of the other species. In this way the medicinal plant are used as natural herbicide and role in weed management due to presence of different kind of bioactive compounds synthesis along with huge microbe diversity in the nearby soil. Plantation of medicinal plant at wide ranging area also regulate the quality and health of soil rhizosphere of nearby region. So medicinal plants chief role in ecofriendly weed management strategies and ecological balance in agronomy sector
