In the second wave of feminism the black women raised their voice against sexual and racial violence. They poignantly expressed that how they were exploited both inside and outside. How with their every step humiliation was waiting for them. The novel prize winner Toni Morrison and Audre Lorde through their novels The Bluest Eye and Zami a New Spelling of My Name presented the vivid image of the marginal bodies during the twentieth century. Both the novelists through their novels tried to show the desire of suppressed women who tried getting their own identity even in the adverse condition.
