Abstract
The point of the current review is to report the social significance and use of ethno medicinal plant species among the networks of Tehri area in Garhwal Himalaya, India. Uttarakhand territory of India is isolated into two divisions Garhwal and Kumaon with total 13 district. Locale Tehri Garhwal is among them which was chosen for the current examination to survey the circulation of therapeutic Plants and their restorative purposes for individual. Garhwal Himalaya has been the supply of tremendous natural resources including vegetational wealth. Primitive communities & tribes who live nearby backwoods due to being near the nature, have a profound down to earth information on native vegetation, relating to curatives, culture, customs, ethos, cults, religion, belief, legends, myths as well as other different purposes. Individuals in distant towns and ancestral regions rely on the folk medications and household remedy to a great extent. The review relates to the ethno medicinal plants trees utilized for the treatment of different illnesses and infirmities like looseness of the bowels, cough, asthma, inflammation, body-throb, wound healing, bronchitis, mouth ulcer, cold, smooth delivery, migraine, throat sore, constipation, menstrual issues, malaria, vomiting, jaundice, mental confusion, skin infections and so on. For each plant its natural name, local name, and manner of use was described.
