Title

A Study on Prevalence of Anaemia and Micronutrient Deficiencies in Indian Children

Abstract

In India, there are numerous health issues. Anaemia is one of the most common health concerns among Indian children. Anaemia refers to an iron and vitamin deficit in Indian youngsters. Anaemia affects people at various phases of life including childhood, adolescence, and old age. However, it has a major impact on children's health. It has a great impact not just on children's current health but also on their future health. As a result, it's important to discuss about this problem in developing countries like India. The objective of this study is to compare anaemia in three age groups (one to four years, five to nine years, and ten to nineteen years) and to determine the association between iron, vitamin A, vitamin D and zinc deficiency in vegetarians and non-vegetarians as well as in urban and rural areas. The study's data is taken from the CNNS Report 2016-2018. In a different group of children, the study revealed that having enough vitamins in their daily meal helps to reduce the problem of anaemia. The education of mothers also supports in the treatment of anaemia in their children. The government also takes appropriate efforts in these areas to improve the problem of various groups of children.
