This article is all about the harm reduction for people who inject drugs. We can actually get from the article that HIV prevalence worldwide among people who inject drug is around 19%. For harm, reduction there is needle syringe programs and Opioid substitution therapy and often coupled with antiretroviral therapy for people living with HIV. Numerous studies examined the effectiveness of each harm reduction program. However, this study discusses the evidence of effectiveness of each harm reduction strategy and their cost-effectiveness with respect to HIV-related outcomes.
