Title

IMAGE PROCESSING BASED SEED GROWTH DETECTION

Abstract

Availability of very high-quality seeds is incredibly important for the assembly of seedlings together with agriculture and horticulture. the standard of the seeds is expounded to resistance to biological, abiotic stresses, the speed of seedling, and performance of the plant. Temperature sensing IR cameras have historically been used for military applications. However, decreasing prices, increasing image quality, and also the smaller size of the camera during the past years have opened the door to a range of utility. Agriculture may be a particularly important area of research. the employment of the Thermal camera is being extended the maximum amount as possible to live the temperature difference. they'll have many advantages compared to image camera, that employment in the visual spectrum, like - the flexibility to determine within the darkness, work robustly in an exceedingly variety of lights, and fewer intrusions on privacy, etc. one among the most challenges is to track Short-Term Single-Object (STSO) within the temperature image. The proposed work describes a way to identify the standard of seeds. within the proposed work, a range of crop height detecting using ultrasonic sensor and micro controller.
