Library is the heart of every academic institution. Library plays very important role to provide right information to the right users at the right time. After the COVID pandemic the use of ICT in higher education become a vital part for teaching learning process. ICT can help teachers and students in the classroom. ICT improves individual, group, and societal learning. Today the use of ICT has changed the nature and services of libraries like information acquired, processed, stored, accessed, disseminated and used. These technologies also changed the expectations of the user community. It has transformed the concept of libraries from a store house of books to information dissemination centre. The purpose of this paper is to describe the ICT based applications in libraries, school and higher education. The paper also covers the benefits of ICT in libraries and education.
