Title

SMART AGRICULTURE AND IRRIGATION MONITORING SYSTEM

Abstract

In this 21st century where each and every sector is progressing in automation and is connected to internet, the sector of agriculture is far behind in fully automation where every work is done with the help of automation machinery. The farmers and agricultural field requires an automated system where most of the things will be done with the help of internet of things. But due to issue of costing this is lagging behind. In agricultural field the crops must grow under certain climatic and surrounding conditions which will benefit the crops the agricultural field and indirectly the farming sector. Automation is the process where the human labor is replaced by industrial machines and the process is controlled by machines. In this project we have used different types of components for better growth of crops which will be beneficial for the agricultural sector. We have used sensors such as temperature sensor, humidity sensor, soil moisture senor, motion detection sensor, rain sensor, and mainly we have used gas senor for detecting the quality of air index in the agricultural field. For effective costing we have use Arduino module and to connect whole system to internet we have used an IOT module. If the air quality is above a specific level then the levels can be seen from anywhere in the world and necessary actions can be taken to prevent the crops from getting damaged.
