Abstract

Electroplating methods are frequently used in industrial settings for a wide range of metallic coatings, ranging from technological to ornamental. In this mini review, we have summarized the mechanism, types of electro deposition, factors affecting the electro deposition process and water pollution. The principal waste streams created in considerable amounts everyday in electroplating enterprises are wastewater, spent solvent, spent process solutions, and sludge.
