This Project presents a Smart Public Transport Tracking and Parking Slot Detection System using GPS and GSM to track and locate the Transport. The system can send an SMS to the user mobile Phone and provide details about public Transport. User will have to sends an SMS to the provided number and they will get an SMS back containing details of Transport like Live Location of Transport, number of seats vacant in Public Transport and Parking Slot available near by the Stand. This system is composed of Global Positioning System (GPS), Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) -900 module, an Arduino UNO, LCD Display, GSM SIM Module and IR sensor. This system allows better tracking of the Transport and makes easier for people to use public transport and reach their destination.
