Urbanization is growing at a rapid pace, resulting in greater transportation facilities and, as a result, more vehicles on the road. These vehicles must be parked in a specific spot. However, in order to accommodate such a large number of automobiles, an efficient parking facility is required. Parking habits differ from one traveller to the next and are influenced by a variety of circumstances. The parking charge, parking LOS, family income, and walking distance of parking from the target place are the important elements that influence parking efficiency. Three such parking facilities are being explored in this study, where both free and paid parking facilities are available within the same parking lot. The decision of people between free and paid parking will be examined in this study. A cost-effective parking solution will be proposed based on the findings of the investigation.
