Title

Review of Fingerprint Authentication System

Abstract

The project work is concerned with the implementation of biometric fingerprint authentication system which is an automated method of verifying a match between two human fingerprints for validating identity. The modern computer security battleground is one of high security versus low friction. To increase security, developers want users to use unique, complicated passwords for their apps. Employee Automation System is intended to ensure that the organization has the appropriate level of human resource tracking for each individual department. Employee Automation System's main feature is time tracking for employees. The system is based on biometric fingerprint features that identify a particular or specific employee. The system can be accessed via a remote network. Employee fingerprint verification, employee attendance, employee tracking, employee leave, and salary payment and promotion modules are also included in the developed system. The system's operational activities are accessed or controlled by three users: Admin, Operator, and Employee. The administrator has full access to all features, whereas the operator panel is intended to run the software during office hours and take fingerprint attendance. Employees can access the employee panel, which displays profile information, last fingerprint attendance access, and the month's leaving/absent status. The client-server model and software methodology are used to design the system.
