Title

Development of Mobile phase of synthesized Phenytoin by Thin Layer Chromatography

Abstract

Phenytoin is composed of five membered hydantoin with two phenyl group of C-5 position phenytoin having less aqueous solubility due to diphenyl moiety at C-5 position. Phenytoin is anti convulsant used in various types of epilepsy. chromatography is the separation technique of mixtures of component into individual components. Thin Layer chromatography is liquid chromatography. TLC is used in qualitative & quantitative analysis to separate organic compounds & test the purity of compounds.
