Title

GREEN SYNTHESIS OF COPPER NANOPARTICLES USING SOLANUM NIGRUM LEAVES AND ITS ANTIMICROBIAL, ANTICANCER ACTIVITY ON CERVICAL CANCER CELL LINE(HELA)

Abstract

Chemotherapy is the prominent strategy for dealing with advanced and intermittent carcinoma, but the clinical performance of chemotherapy is limited by relatively low response rates, drug resistance, and adverse effects that severely affect the quality of life of patients. The study found that Solanum nigrum contains the substances, such as total alkaloid, steroid, saponins, and glycoprotein, exhibiting anti-tumor activity. Copper compounds are Cancer Chemotherapeutics used alone or in combination with other drugs and we aim to evaluate the cytotoxic and apoptosis-inducing effects of Cu-NPs on the cervical cancer cell line. This study aims to provide a simple and eco-friendly approach for the synthesis of Cu-NPS using the medical plant Solanum nigrum aqueous leaf extract. In this research, nanoparticles are identified by using (Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), and UV visible Spectroscopy. Over the anticancer potential of prepared Copper Nanoparticles of Solanum nigrum, Leaf Extract was reported through apoptotic inducing effective on the Anticancer activity.
