Title

Experimental Study on R.C. Jacketing and F.R.P. Jacketing on Beam elements

Abstract

Now days we have seen many structures collapse or deterioration due to lack of maintenance, monitoring of structure. These parameters are very important for smooth functioning of structure in their useful life. The concept of condition assessment plays an important role in the maintenance management, as it is the process of gathering the important data about the structure and determining the existing condition of structure. After the assessment the structural element which is deteriorated or damaged are jacketed. The jacketing method helps the structural element to increase lateral strength, stiffness, ductility and also used to increase the durability.
