Title

macOS Privilege Escalation : Kernel Weaponizing

Abstract

Exploiting the macOS System architecture and Kernel. Here we learn how vulnerabilities in Kernel lead to local privilege escalation from guest user to root user; various types of vulnerabilities that affect the Kernel in handling the memory address are also leaking the arbitrary code for an unprivileged user. Many vulnerabilities found in the Kernel are explained and demonstrated.
