The present study seeks to shed light on the changing scenario of the oil seeds and edible oil sector and to analyze the factors affecting the import demand of edible oils in India. It helps researchers and policy makers to gain insights into the changing scenarios of the country’s oil seed sector and to design productive and consumer-friendly policies.
