The construction industry plays a critical role in any developing country. Productivity is mostly related with performance of labour, it is one of the most important variable that influenced the growth of construction industry. Productivity loss is one of the serious issues in the construction firms. The cost of labour in construction sector is estimated to be between 33% to 50% of the total project cost, because labour is more variable than other project costs. Productivity growth can reduce labour costs in a direct proportion. It can either increase or decrease the profit of project. The purpose of this research study was to determine the factors that affect labour productivity in construction projects. This research is done for factor affecting labour productivity in construction projects. This research focuses on a construction companies that listed with Rajkot Municipal Corporation (R.M.C). In this study questionnaire forms are distributed to the contractors which listed in R.M.C. The analysis of factors was done using Frequency index method and given ranking to the factors. From analysis, it can be concluded that top five factors which are affect productivity of labours is, 1) Rainy season, 2) Proper work allocation, 3) Shortage issue of labours, 4) Lack of safety tools, 5) No daily target given to the labours.
