Economic Aspects of Bharatiya Freedom Movement Bharatiya freedom movement can not be considered as an instant outcome of any particular action of the colonial power and exploitation but it was a series of equally likely events that meted to the native of this country for ages. The colonial powers ruled and ruined the country for about centuries since the Mauryan era and so for. There was a hefty accumulation of dissidence among all social sphere. So thtat was the time when economic thinkers as well economic leaders among political leaders raised up viz. Kautilya, Ashoka, Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru ect. who gave us the concepts of nationalism, statecraft and good governance. Thus such leadres led the country toward the ultimate destination of political and economic independence. On This very occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsa to mark the 75th years of indepence it is inevitable to acknowledge and bring forth their contributions.
