Title

''An interventional study to evaluate the effectiveness of role play on knowledge regarding good touch and bad touch among school going children (6-12 years) in nutan primary school jalna, maharashtra.''

Abstract

A study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of role play on knowledge regarding good touch and bad touch. The selected age group between 6-12 years of age. The sampling techniques used for study was convenience sampling. This was a primary study so trial of tool was taken through pilot study and the result was much reliable i.e., 0.85. The total sample was used in study was 40 in which 20 taken for experimental group and 20 for control group. The questionnaires were prepared to obtain the demographic profile age in year, educational status, father educational status, mother educational status, type of family, number of siblings, residence, hobbies, mode of transportation to school, sources of information. Data was collected with the help of demographic variables and was done in Nutan Primary School at Jalna, Maharashtra. On 1st day, the pre-test was done with help of tool. Each consecutive day, visit was done to the samples and peer group interaction were implemented on daily basis. On the 7th day i.e., Monitoring of effectiveness of peer group interaction on knowledge regarding good touch and bad touch. The result showed that there is correlation between pre and post-test and also there is significant relationship between performance of pre and post-test outcome.
