The concept of Piezoelectricity is a new and rising concept in the field of energy harvesting or scavenging. Piezoelectric technology has the potential to transform the way we harvest energy. That's because piezoelectric materials generate tiny amounts of electricity when they're squeezed or flexed. Piezoelectric materials can be used as integrated components in machines, allowing those machines to harvest energy from the movement they produce. That means we can capture energy that would otherwise be lost, and use it instead to power our devices or our electric grid.
