This research paper throws a light on the export performance of Karnataka, descriptive research study method has used to evaluate the export performance. Over the last few decades, the State of Karnataka has been on the forefront of India’s economic growth, transitioning from a primarily agrarian State to emerge as the Silicon Valley of India. India’s vision is to achieve USD5 trillion economy by 2024 is directly linked with an export-oriented approach. With a share of 8% in 2018-19, Karnataka was the fifth highest contributor to India’s GDP of ₹ 140.9 trillion, after Maharashtra (14.5%), Tamil Nadu (8.6%), Uttar Pradesh (8.4%) and Gujarat (8.1%).
