Title

PERFORMANCE OF CONCRETE BY PARTIAL REPLACING RAW MATERIALS WITH SUGARCANE BAGASSE ASH AND CERAMIC WASTE AGGREGATE

Abstract

Over the last decade, many researchers have been working on different research topic and introducing different aspects of the utilization of waste in concrete by replacing cement and aggregates. Bagasse ash replaces cement and ceramic waste replaces aggregates in many studies. This current experimental study has various objectives to determine the behavior of waste materials in concrete. For this, control concrete mix and modified concrete mixes of grades M-25 & M-30 were prepared using Sugar-Cane Bagasse Ash (SCBA) as a partial replacement of cement in proportions of 10, 20, 30 & 40% and coarse aggregates were replaced by ceramic waste aggregates at proportion of 5%, 10% and 20%. Different aspects of fresh and hardened concrete were explored in the laboratory by performing different test. The results were scrutinized and final outcome of the study was revealed in terms of optimum dosage of waste materials.
