Cervical cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in India. The awareness about the symptoms and risk factors has a large impact on the teenagers and adolescent. Majority of these risk factors, which start at an early age, are modifiable and can be prevented through effective public health strategies. It is important to address these factors, particularly in vulnerable teens through multiple approaches for reducing risk of cervical cancer at a later age. Awareness and identifying the risk factors about cervical cancer will reduce the morbidity and mortality rates among Teenagers.
