Title

Numerical Dual Solution of stagnation point flow and Melting Heat transfer of Casson Fluid due to stretching sheet

Abstract

An analysis has been carried out to study the effect of melting heat transfer boundary layer flow of a Casson fluid in the region of stagnation point over a stretching sheet. The nonlinear governing equations and their associated boundary conditions are initially cast into dimensionless forms by similarity variables. These equations were then solved by using the Runge-Kutta Integration technique. The influence of Casson parameter (β) , Melting parameter(M), Prandtl number(Pr) and stretching ratio parameter(ε) on velocity and temperature profiles were thoroughly examined. It was found that dual solutions exists in shrinking case, while for the stretching case, the solution is unique.
