Title

AN OVERVIEW OF PROGRAMMED CELL DEATH: APOPTOSIS

Abstract

Apoptosis destroys cells that are in the process of developing, gets rid of cells that could become malignant and infected with viruses, and keeps the body in balance. Among cell biologists, it is most likely one of the topics that are studied the most. It is essential for the development of the immune system, as well as for the homeostasis of tissues, sexual differentiation, and the eradication of pathogenic organisms.
