Self-Esteem and Academic Performance of M.Ed. Students.

Abstract
Self Esteem is defined by many factors which involve self confidence, feeling of security, identity, sense of belonging and feeling of competence. Self Esteem is of two types, High Self Esteem and Low Self Esteem. Research documented that High Self Esteem plays an important role in academic achievement, whereas Low Self Esteem creates negative feelings. The study results revealed that there is a significant correlation between Self Esteem and academic achievement of M.Ed students.
