Title

Responsibility Of the Samaja as A Newspaper Towards Community and Analysis

Abstract

1919 saw the debut of 'The Samjaja,' a daily newspaper written in Odia and first published by Gopabandhu Das (1877-1928), an idealist and freedom warrior. His vocation was to preserve the Odia identity, and he devoted his whole life to the development of India and the state of Odisha. The rise of western education and culture, together with the expansion of nationalist movements in Odisha, all coincided with one another and ushered in the Indian Renaissance. The purpose of this research is to determine the duties that the Samaja newspaper has towards the community, to determine the social problems that the newspaper focuses on, and to provide suggestions about other topics that the newspaper need to pay attention to. In order to carry out the statistical analysis for this research, SPSS was used. In order to do research on The Samaja newspapers, a wide range of methodologies, such as questionnaires, surveys, and interviews, have been used. The media have a significant impact on the formation of society norms and views, and they also play an important role in the processes of identity construction, regionalization, and multiculturalism. It is possible that our colleagues in the media in a developing nation like India, where widespread poverty and bad governance are the norm, might not feel the same sense of obligation as those in more industrialised countries.
