Education is said to be the action for development and production and Globalization is considered as the incorporation of multiple countries into a single economic market. Every nation has its separate system of education. French is being taught all over the country and lakhs of students are vouching for it. French is termed as one of the simple foreign languages that can be learnt by the English speakers easily and accurately in a short period of time. However, a wrong perception prevails among high school and college students that French is difficult to learn, understand and apply in real-life contexts as compared to other popular foreign languages. Thus, the present study throws the light on French as a foreign language in post globalization India.
