Anthelmintic drugs are those which produces which helminthiasis (a very severe parasitic disease) as most of the population and the livestock produces resistance against the same. When the efficacy of available anthelmintic drugs produces better result as compared to the newly discovered drug then it is hindered by the lack of high-throughput screening methods and drug effect is assessed by observing mortality of parasite using laborious, subjective and low-throughput by using different genes and mutants. The purpose behind this review paper is to focus of the drugs which are being used in treatment of parasitic nematode infection.
