Title

A CONCEPTUAL STUDY ON PATHYA AND APATHYA AHARA DRAVYA ACCORDING TO AYURVEDA

Abstract

Ayurveda's primary goal is to preserve a healthy person's health in order to prevent the appearance of ailments. The second goal of Ayurveda is the treatment of illnesses. Acharyas have outlined a number of dos and don'ts, such as Ritucharya (seasonal regime), Dinacharya (diurnal regime), etc., to preserve the health of a healthy individual. One such idea is the distinction between Pathya (wholesome) and Apathaya (unwholesome). The concept of Pathya (wholesome) and Apathaya (unwholesome) was expanded by Charyas to include the treatment of ailments in addition to being a component of a regime of healthy living. The significance of Pathya (wholesome) and Apathaya (unwholesome) in Ayurveda is demonstrated by this. The uniqueness of Ayurveda is the idea of Pathya (wholesome) and Apathaya (unwholesome).
