Silence is an Effective tool for Communicating the world: A Study ABSTRACT Communication is the most important factor for leading our life in a balanced way. Communication is the process of sharing and receiving information - in other words, talking or writing, and listening or reading. Good communicators listen cautiously, speak or write obviously, and respect different kinds of perspective and opinions. In a broad aspect, there are three ways for communicating with each other. They are Verbal communication, Non-Verbal communication and written communication. My paper deals with silent way of communication, and intrapersonal communication that cannot be exactly termed as Non-verbal communication. My paper goes with the popular sayings “Talk less, Work more,” and “Let’s work hard in Silence and our Success can speak.” When I say “silent way of communication”, it also refers to written communication and intrapersonal communication. The written communication was very effective in the olden days. Now also the written way of communication speaks effectively in silence. For example, if a person writes effectively and passes an entrance or competitive exam, publishes a paper, writes a novel, etc… it speaks a lot. It is the hard work completed in Silence. Intrapersonal communication can be explained as communication with one’s self, which include self-talk and self-evaluation, acts of fantasy and visualization, and even recalling the memory. In my opinion and observance, Silence is also a soft skill which can be achieved through patience. Being Silent, a person becomes an active listener. A person rather who speaks a lot fails to analyse what happens around him. For instance, A Scientist or A Researcher works hard in Silence and achieves many great things like launching Rocket in the space and inventing new ideas. Also in this digital world, there is no need to communicate unnecessarily as everything is in our hand, so we have to work hard in Silence and communicate within ourselves to be unique among the normal society and for achieving or creating great things.
