Title

“A comprehensive study of Erand mool (Ricinus communis Root) w.s.r. to Vrishya karma (Aphrodisiac Properties).”

Abstract

According to Skandhan et al., there is an extremely high rate of infertility in India, which is 57%. (1982), Male factor infertility's occurrence may vary from country to country and even from place to place, but the problem's scope never changes. As a form of treatment, vrsya karma is used to help people develop equine-like sexual ferocity and urges. Carkapani asserts that the use of Vajikarana improves one's ability to perform Coitus, improves the quality and quantity of the ejaculated sperm, and facilitates prompt ejaculation of the fertile sperm. Aphrodisiacs are the name for the medications that increase or enhance this feeling. Aphrodisiacs have been given the respect they deserve in all significant Ayurvedic writings that are still in existence today; their potential for toning the body by reestablishing physiology has been noted. They might be edible, contain volatile oils, or have an impact on the neuro-muscular system. These medications improve blood flow and promote overall health by enhancing both physical and mental capabilities. Snigdha (Unctuous) substances are aphrodisiacs and improve vigour by aggravating Kapha and reducing Vata. In order to address both the issues of Vandyatva (male infertility) and Klaibhya, the phrase Vrsya karma was created (male sexual dysfunctions). Erandmool is a very effective medication for boosting vrisya karma in our bodies.
