Although the role of women entrepreneurs is becoming increasingly important in creating new jobs and contributing to the social and economic growth of society, the relationship and differences between women entrepreneurship and culture are currently under-researched. No. This special issue presents eight empirical papers that address different aspects of the dynamic interplay between gender and culture that shapes female entrepreneurship.
