Title

Hunger Strike of Bhagat Singh and his Comrades

Abstract

Hunger Strike Bhagat Singh based his struggle for freedom on the principle of death. He used death as a weapon to give culmination to his revolutionary pursuit. Bhagat Singh chooses this mode to awaken the revolutionary feelings among the countrymen. Bhagat Singh and his comrades continuing in jails and court. They started hunger strike in order to get better living conditions in jails and to establish their identity as political prisoners. Punjab jails were like hell and being were very well aware of this they had intimated the jail authorities of Punjab upon leaving Delhi about their going on hunger strike on 15-16 June.
