Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) is a management concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concept in their business operations, as per the provision of section 135 of companies act,2013. Now it is mandatory for very company who will covered in the purview of the provision of section 135 we will follows the provision. Through this study we analyze the data collected from secondary sources. After analyzing data of top 10 ranking companies CSR performance in comparison to other companies and with each other it is found that top 10 CSR ranking companies played important role and their participation and perormance reflects like leader. Top 10 CSR ranks companies share in total CSR spent is in range of 20 to 43 percent. It is also found that other companies who are not spent on CSR as per the prescrisbed limit is very large in number. The number of zero spending on CSR comapnies is also very large. So iin this area government will take some initiatives to implement the prescribed provision. So it will benefit able for the welfare of society, enviornment and country also.
