Abstract
Rev.CTE Rhenius who was born on 5th November AD1790 in Germany was a religious worker.In AD 1814 he came to India to do religious work. When Rev.Rhenius was doing religious service in Tamilnadu, Cholera plague spread.The strategies followed to create awareness about the disease and precaution of the disease and prevention of the disease to protect the people of Tamilnadu are mentioned in this research paper.
