Abstract

Ayurveda has immense potential to solve many challenging and unsolved problems of the medical world. Among them Arsha is one such grave disease. Acharya Sushrutha, the father of ancient surgery elaborately described about the Arsha in the treatise. He considered Arsha as one among the Asta Mahagadas and indefinitely curable.
