The study was conducted to find out the effect of music for inculcation of values among elementary school students. The objectives of the study were to examine the impact of music for inculcation of values among elementary school students, to find out sex differences for inculcation of values through music at elementary level and to find out cultural differences for inculcation of values through music at elementary level. The post-test result was better than the pre-test result. It proved that music education raised the values among elementary school students. The study reveals that girl students are better than the boy students in inculcation of values as they are living with the strict guidance of the parents. Rural girls are better than rural boys in all cases because girls learn more from society, home and relatives. Urban girls are better in inculcation of values through music education in comparison to their counter parts.
