Title

A Study on the Factors Affecting Customer Satisfaction Towards Canned Food Products in India.

Abstract

Canned food industry has been growing rapidly across India over the last few decades. This study is aimed to identify the factors affecting customers satisfaction towards canned food or packed food industry in India. Now-a-days, people are aware about the packaging of the food products and also annoyed with cluttered design on packed food. However, product information also influences consumers’ purchase decision process. Moreover, consumers would not prefer to purchase products that do not have sufficient information related to ingredients present in the product. Also, as we all know that customer satisfaction leads to loyalty. So, for this study primary data will be collected from different groups and our target population is parents and students of Indian market. We conduct a Likert scale (1-5 level) for pilot study to find out most appropriate variable for customer satisfaction.
